On May 13, 2024, Anyuan County Dongjiang Jade Primary School organized students from grade 3 to 6 to go to 300 Mountains to carry out research and practice activities with the theme of "Tracing the source of Dongjiang Water and swimming in 300 Mountains"! Early in the morning, the students assembled, like the morning sun, full of enthusiasm, orderly formation, after the brief opening ceremony, the students under the leadership of the instructor orderly to the bus waiting point ready to get on the bus, full of enthusiasm to embark on today's research trip, to exercise themselves, learn new knowledge, enrich their minds, improve their self-care ability. We believe that students will benefit a lot from today's research trip and leave many precious memories that cannot be erased! Opening ceremony In the car, the instructor first introduced the day's itinerary and travel rules to the students, and then led the students to play games together, and laughed all the way! After more than an hour's drive, the students arrived safely at the 300 Mountain Scenic Spot. The students are taking an exciting cable car ride. Foot on the cloud, Huai River mountain, shuttle in the mountains, over one mountain after another, looking at fairyland like places, really feast your eyes. The first stop of the students' research is the Huyuan Stone, which was erected in 2017 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. On the stone tablet, "We must protect the source water of the Dongjiang River" is an inscription written by Premier Zhou Enlai. In 1963, Hong Kong suffered the worst drought in more than 60 years, and 3.5 million people suffered from water shortages. In December of that year, under the personal instructions of Premier Zhou Enlai, it took 11 months to complete the Dongshen Water Supply Project in Shenzhen and divert water from the Dongjiang River to Hong Kong, thus ending Hong Kong's long history of water shortage. The stone is shaped like a palm, which means to protect the source with your hand. The stone is 5.23 meters high, corresponding to the length of the Dongjiang River basin of 523 kilometers, and 3 meters wide, representing Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong. The length of the stone base is 4.65 meters, corresponding to the distance of 465 kilometers from 300 Shan to Hong Kong; The flower bed is round, meaning "round and full". In 2007, the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong, the statue of the Goddess of Mercy of Dripping Water was donated by the followers of Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong. Its treasure is kind and solemn, holding a clean bottle in the left hand and a seal in the right hand, standing at the source of the Shandong River. The total height of the statue is 11.69 meters, which is commensurate with the elevation of the main peak. The shape and technique of the statue are in line with the meaning of Buddhism, and have the characteristics of contemporary aesthetics, architecture, sculpture and Buddha art. Siyuan Pavilion was built by the Shenzhen and Hong Kong associations. The couplets on the pillars on both sides of the pavilion were donated by the Shenzhen and Hong Kong associations. "The oasis of Hong Kong and Shenzhen, flowing for thousands of miles, comes from here; Three hundred rain and dew, feeding all things, um unforgettable ", expressing the great moral feelings of drinking water. The fourth stop of the students came to the 300 mountain drinking water Siyuan Pavilion, Siyuan Pavilion is divided into "source water", "life water", "dedication water", "Thanksgiving water" and "cultural water" five chapters, showing the fine ecology and heavy culture of 300 mountain; Show Anyuan people's love and protection feelings for decades; Show Hong Kong compatriots drinking water to reflect on the source of gratitude. In the Siyuan Exhibition Hall, the students listened to the story of the Dongshen water supply project explained by the narrator, and understood the importance of loving and protecting the source! Happy time is always short, the students have successfully completed the task of the morning, and now have arrived at the dining place! The instructor is leading the students to sit in front of each table in an orderly manner, and the delicious and nutritious lunch is waiting for everyone to taste. After a happy lunch, the students came to Manyun Trestle Road to enjoy the spectacular beauty of their hometown! Manyun plank road, a total length of 3166 meters, of which the glass plank road 80 meters, from a distance, like a winding hanging in the mountain belt, walking during, like walking in the clouds, like a fairyland. With a total length of 330 meters, a width of 2.5 meters and a maximum drop of 198 meters, it is currently the longest glass bridge in Jiangxi. Let's have a look at the wonderful moments of the students challenging the glass bridge! The first waterfall of the Dongjiang River is gathered by the Fuao Pond and the small streams on the mountain. The single-stage drop of the waterfall is more than 120 meters. It is the longest waterfall found in the scenic spot at present. The waterfall front vision is wide, the distant green mountains are lush, and the forest sea is vast, making people relaxed and happy. The three characters of Dongjiangyuan on the stone wall were inscribed by Ye Xuanping, former vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The last stop of research came to Siyuan Baoding. Strong love of national conditions, Chun Chun hometown, Siyuan Baoding was built in 2007 on the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong, by the donation of people from all walks of life in Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong, is the imitation of the Western Zhou Dag Ding cast, triding 4.65 meters high, 4.65 tons, meaning Hong Kong to 300 mountains 465 kilometers away, 330 centimeters in diameter, is the homonic name of 300 mountains. Siyuan Baoding witnessed the deep feeling of the three hundred Mountains and Hong Kong. This is the end of the colorful research activities!
