Convention on Tour Civilized Behavior

Harmonious environment matters a great deal to each and every tourist, to be civilized and disciplined is a duty as the following convention goes:

1. Maintain environmental hygiene. Do not spit, including gum, litter, or smoke in non-smoking places.


2. Observe public order. Do not make noise, jump the queue, block the way side by side, or talk loudly in public.


3. Protect ecological environment. Do not trample on green space, pick flowers or fruits, break plants, chase, catch, throw at, or feed animals carelessly.


4. Protect cultural relics and historic sites. Do not make graffiti, climb or touch against them, or take photos and videos without permission.


5. Cherish public facilities. Do not defile room articles, damage amenities, or covet petty gain. Practise thrift on water and electricity. Do not waste dishes at table.


6. Respect others’ rights. Do not forcibly take photos with foreign guests, sneeze at others, or occupy public facilities for long. Esteem personnel service, and respect religious customs of other ethnic groups.


7. Stay polite to others. Be neatly and decently dressed. Do not be topless in public. Show courtesy to the old, young, sick and disabled. Be courtly to ladies. Do not talk rudely.


8. Uphold healthy recreation. Resist feudal superstition. Clear off from obscenity, gambling or drugs.
